Service is Second Only to Safety
The minimum requirement to become a Self Defense Act firearms instructor in Oklahoma is a rudimentary 16-hour class. No training or experience in criminal or civil law is necessary for certification, though that is a substantial part of the SDA curriculum. The lead instructor at Defensive Training Services has 900 hours of formal firearms / instructor training and decades law enforcement experience. DTS offers professional instruction in an environment where customer service comes second only to safety. DTS is licensed and bonded.
Already have your concealed carry license? DTS offers proprietary Concealed Carry Concepts, Defensive Pistol, Advanced Defensive Pistol, Defensive Shotgun, Defensive Carbine courses.
We also have Introduction to Handguns classes where new or prospective gun owners can learn about firearms function and safety.
Do you want to avoid the crowd and have a more private training experience? DTS will provide any of our classes for small groups for an up-charge. Call or email for additional information.
REFUND POLICY: DTS uses a service (ShootingClasses.com) for enrollment. Students who need to cancel before the class can do so by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and provide reasoning for the cancellation. We will review your request and get back to you.
When a student doesn't show up to a class without notice, no refund will be issued. Full refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Shooting Classes' service fees are non-refundable for any reason That's out of our control. If there are any questions, please email email@example.com.
